What your browser keeps

Cookie Policy

BetIT.cc only sets first-party cookies it needs to work. They are strictly necessary, so they need no consent and there is nothing to switch off: no advertising, analytics or third-party trackers.

__Secure-betit.session_token

Keeps you signed in. Set when you sign in, removed when you sign out; it lasts at most 7 days and renews while you play. Without it you cannot use an account.

__Secure-betit.two_factor

Only while you sign in with two-factor authentication: links the password step to the code step for a few minutes, then it is gone. We do not remember a device for two-factor: the code is asked every time.

betit_did (device cookie)

A random id, signed by us, set on your first visit and kept for 400 days. It recognises this browser so we can protect accounts and spot one person running several accounts. We store only a keyed hash of it, together with the accounts that used this browser, the IP address and the user agent (browser and operating system with their versions). It is strictly necessary for security and fraud prevention, which is why it needs no opt-in.

betit_ref

Only when you open a referral link: remembers the code for 30 days so the friend who invited you is credited when you sign up.

Browser check

While you are signed in, your browser sends us once per visit a hash of a few of its traits: screen size, colour depth and pixel ratio, time zone, languages, number of processor cores, device memory, touch points, platform, graphics card and how it draws a short text. Only the hash leaves your browser. It is used the same way as the device cookie, as a weaker signal.

Local storage

Your browser also keeps a few display preferences on its own (sidebar, sounds, that you have read the cookie notice). They never leave your device.

Your choices

You can delete cookies in your browser at any time. You will then be signed out, and the next visit counts as a new device. Questions: support@betit.cc.
